KinderCheer
KinderCheer is an entry level cheer class designed for the young cheerleader age 3-5 years. KinderCheer provides a fun introduction to the exciting sport of cheerleading! Our kinder-cheerleaders learn age appropriate cheerleading skills with a focus toward building a solid foundation to prepare the student to advance to our Pre-Team Cheer Program or our All-Star Competitive Cheer Program. Kinder-cheerleaders are introduced to basic cheer tumbling; and simple cheers, chants and jumps
Cheer 1 / Tumble
Cheer 1 classes are offered to new cheer students 6 years and older. Cheer 1 is designed to teach basic cheer skills such as entry level tumbling, cheers, chants and jumps. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, form and building the proper foundation for advancement. Additional emphasis is directed toward developing the necessary strength and flexibility not only to enable the student to master the skills, but also to provide the physical basis needed to train safely. Only BASIC tumbling is taught in Cheer 1 (forward rolls, bridge kickover’s, cartwheels, and round-offs).
Cheer 2 / Tumble
This class teaches the all around skills needed to try out for a cheer team. Students will refine their tumbling, dance, jumps and cheer skills. They will continue to perfect their cartwheels, round-offs and kick over’s and when ready, will begin training for standing backhand springs and roundoff back handsprings. All skills from Cheer 1 need to be mastered.
Pre-Team Cheer Program
The Pre-Team Cheer Program is for anyone interested in trying out for one of our cheer teams or a school cheer team. The Pre-Team Cheer Program provides an excellent, more intensive cheerleading experience and does so in a team environment. Students will stunt and train at a faster pace. This class is an evaluation only class.
Tumble 100
This class is designed for the development of an athlete to achieve beginning tumble skills - no skills required.
Tumble 150
This class will transition athlete's as they progress out of the tumble 100 class and into the tumble 200 clases and is designed for the development of an athlete to progess from beginning to intermediate tumble skills - tumble 100 skills required.
Tumble 200
This class is designed to further the development of an athlete to achieve such skills as multiple back handsprings in succession as well as connecting a back handspring to jumps.
- Round-off and 3 back handsprings
- Standing 2 back handsprings
- Toe touch back handspring
Tumble 300
This class will teach standing tucks and round off back handspring tucks as well such as punch fronts. An athlete will develop the following skills:
- Round-off back handspring tuck
- Standing back tuck (with light spot)
- Punch Front
Tumble 400
This class is designed for the more advanced tumblers. We will focus on skills such as layouts, whips, front tumbling, and other skills legal under the Level 4 tumbling rules. We will also focus on the advanced standing tumbling skills such as a standing back and a toe-touch back.
