What is Half Year Cheer?

At iNFiNiTi Athletics, there’s truly a place for everyone! Our Half Year Program is ideal for athletes ages 3 and up who are new to All Star cheer or looking for a lower time and financial commitment. Running from September through April, this program features Novice and Prep teams (Levels 1 & 2) that compete at local and state events. No prior experience is required, and most athletes are placed on teams based on age and availability. It’s a fun and flexible way to experience the excitement of competitive cheer!

What is the time commitment?

The Half Year Season runs from August through April. Tiny and Mini teams typically practice twice a week for one hour, while older teams usually have one two-hour practice each week. Additional practices may be scheduled as competitions approach. Teams will compete in 2–3 local events during the season. Weekly team practices and one tumble class are included in tuition, with optional discounted classes available for tumbling, flyers, and bases. Practices will be held at our Bentonville or Springdale locations, depending on team placement and registration.

Is iNFiNiTi the place for YOU?

iNFiNiTi’s Half Year Program is a fun, fast-paced way to experience all-star cheer without the year-round commitment. Last season, we proudly fielded 10 Half Year teams, grouped by age and skill to give every athlete the best experience.

The season kicks off with optional Bootcamp Sessions in the summer to build skills and connect with our coaching staff. Tryouts take place in August—Bootcamp athletes are evaluated during class, while non-Bootcamp evaluations are held on August 25th (Springdale) and August 26th or 28th (Bentonville).

Team practices begin September 8th, with two to three regional competitions scheduled from January through April, following Arkansas rules that separate school and all-star cheer.

Our tumbling and skill specific cheer classes are the perfect way to take your skills to the next level. Check out everything we offer to help your athlete be their best.
